The Christmas spirit is in full swing around our house! After over an hour of grueling cutting and taping last night - we finally have presents under the tree!!! In my opinion, a Christmas tree just isn't a Christmas tree without a few pretty presents with even prettier bows under it.
I've almost completed my shopping. One or two relatives remain on my To Do List - but I'm confident everything will be completed in plenty of time for the big day!
Even Dixie & Bauer are looking forward to Santa's arrival. Don't believe me? See for yourself.....
I swear, every time I get the camera out Dixie thinks she's in trouble.
Notice - ears back, tail tucked. I just want a picture Dixie!
Candid shots are usually the best - but as you can see, they are sporting some super cute Christmas gear!
Just in case you were wondering, Said Puppy is still with us. But she would not cooperate and let me put her Santa hat on for a picture.
That's all from our place! Two and a half days left of work and I'm on Christmas holiday for almost two blissful weeks!! Santa can't come soon enough!!
PS.....I know that many of you are photography buffs. I'm having a little difficulty with my new point-and-shoot digital camera. Every time I try to take a picture of my Christmas tree or mantle with the Christmas lights on, the picture turns out all fuzzy like this....
I've tried taking the picture without the flash on and that doesn't help either. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong??? I just want a pretty picture of my tree and mantle all light up for Pete's sake!
Do you have a portrait setting on your digital camera? Try that. You probably have your settings off to where you have to much light coming into the picture. (That is why it is blurry). I think you need to set you ISO to a lower setting.
ReplyDeleteI hope I helped.
Merry Christmas!
You may want to see if your camera has a "scene" function. If it does, try the "party/indoor" function or the "Museum" function. Hope this helps! Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteAHhh, I love the dogs' outfits!! THey look adorable!! And the tree is perfect.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute puppies. I agree with the others. See if you have a scene setting on your camera or if you can change the ISO. If not, you could always put something else in front of the tree and take a picture of it with the blurry tree in the background. It will look like you planned it that way.
ReplyDeleteAw your puppies are too cute!! Love the Christmas tree! Esp that fuzzy picture! <333
ReplyDeleteWrapping is brutal for me! I am awful at it and spent almost 2 hrs last night doing it and I feel like I only got 4 presents done ha ha ha :)
ReplyDeletehave a merry Christmas!!
Your tree looks so fabulously cute! And the puppers!! Adorable :-D

ReplyDeleteThose little pups are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteohhh i just love boxers! i want a little puppy just like yours :)
ReplyDeleteand I agree, a tree isnt a tree without all the presents :)
i love that the pups are all dressed up! too funny she thinks she's in trouble once the camera is out. poor pup ;)
ReplyDeletei need to get a picture of my gus in his christmas sweater!
Do you have a setting on your camera that looks like a little flower? That's usually more for closeups but it might work for your tree as well.
ReplyDeleteLove your puppy pictures!!
I LOVE your pictures -- your pups look SO sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThat puppy is SOO cute!! I want one haha =)
The tree/gifts look marvelous =)
I love your tree! So pretty. Haha, I think that's so funny that she acts like that when you take her picture!
ReplyDeletelove your tree and your pups look adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteYour boxers are SO precious!
ReplyDeleteYou also have to hold extremely still. especially without the flash on, it is keeping the shutter open longer to take in the ambient light which any movement and you'll get fuzzy. Plus if you have chaser lights or flashing lights, that'll show up as "motion" in the photo. If you can set it on something and use the 2 second timer on your camera you won't get camera shake. Just a few ideas to try :)
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful and I love the pics of your pups too! My parents have 2 Boxers and actually are adopting another today for Christmas! They are the best pups ever! Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteVery Nice! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! And such cute puppies!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how cute is that lil' one!! Oh all three of them are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOh--and do you have a "fireworks" setting? My point and shoot did and that was the best Christmas tree photo taker for me!

ReplyDeletewhen i took pictures of my christmas tree with the lights on, i changed the ISO to 800.

I had the same problem with my camera until I turned the flash off. That seemed to work okay for me.
ReplyDeleteThose dogs are ADORABLE! Seriously too cute. Haha!
I love the pictures of the dogs!! You are just going to have to sneak up on Dixie to get a shot without the "scared look." I like the candid shots!!! I wanted a dog for Christmas so bad, but my hubby said no. We are moving next year and wants to wait til we have a big yard. I want a fur baby now.
