I Have A Confession To Make

So I'm going to be honest.  I can be a very judgemental person at times.  It's true.  For example, I tend to judge "those" people on Facebook.  You know the kind - the ones who constantly flood your news feed with posts like "Gina got a new goat on Farmville!"  "Erin slayed 20,000 zombies on ZombieWars!"  I mean let's get serious people - we're adults who are supposed to be working from 9-5 - when do these people find all the time to play such trivial Facebook games?

Oh at least those are the judgemental thoughts that used to run through my head.

Now....now I'm just as guilty as the rest of them.  Because, I joined ESPNU College Town.  That's right - I have created "Fabulous University" and I'm addicted.  I blame my husband 100%.  I always here him talking about "needing more students" and "keeping up student moral" as if he were trying to get his latest crack fix and I just couldn't help but see what all the hype was about.

And now I can't stop myself.  Seriously - someone help me!

So I have to know, are there any other self respecting bloggers out there who have fallen victim to Facebook's deadly addictions or am I the only one???

OMGosh! I play the same game! My fiance got me playing it. I get so excited building it up haha. Maybe we should be friends on FB so we can add each other on there lol.

In regards to FB ... I cannot stand the people who constantly change their status to tell you what they are doing today or when they want to say I am so over it or blah blah blah...in reference to drama with a man usually...How about stop talking trash about it when you most likely will be back together in the next month and not everyone needs to know you are still petty like a HS kid.

Ahhh, College Town!! My sister in law plays this (nicely on Facebook, might I add-- no annoying news feeds!) and I HAVE to get into it! I heard it's really fun :-)

When I worked at the clinic we would play Farmtown all day when patients weren't around, hah! There is NO way that I would have time to play games during the work day now! Happy Wednesday, Amber!! :-)

I blocked all the feeds about Farmville and Mafia Wars, but I fell into the Bejeweled Blitz trap a long time ago and yesterday I discovered Zuma Blitz. I don't even want to know how much time I've wasted on Bejewled Blitz.

I totally agree about the constant facebook updates! I cannot stand them!

Haha, I've gotten caught up before. I had stop playing because I was using too much time when I should be doing other things! They are addicting!!

hahaha.... I have done the same thing... but for a while there i was super addicted to Mafia wars. thank goodness J got me an ipad.. so then i can just download games on there, rather than flood the news feeds with "LAURA KILLED 2000 GANGSTERS" hahahahaha

I always hide the posts from Farmville and the zombies. Lol! But I got addicted to Sorority Life a while back, I'm so guilty too!

I've never done any of the games, but I can see how they would be addicting :)

I use to be so addicted to so many of the games on Facebook. I knew I had to cut back & eventually quit completely. Sadly, I started playing farmville again, but I am trying to quit "cold~turkey"... I just get so wrapped up in it!!

PS.
I can be so judgemental too. =)

haha I have never tried out any of the fb games but thanks for the warning that they are addicting :)

I haven't gotten into any of those facebook games, but I am judgmental of those that do. LOL, kidding (sort of). The reality of it is, I'll probably end up getting addicted so I don't want one more thing to keep up with!

I dare to say you are definately not alone!!! I'm totally addicted to Frontierville on facebook myself! I was into Farmville a while back but KNOW how addicting that is..so I stay away from it..as tempting as it may be!

The only one that I play is Family Feud. But, I can't judge because I've never played any of the other games. To say I don't like them would be like saying I don't like a dish I've never tried. I do; however, find them very annoying and have absolutely no interest in playing them because I might like them. ha!

Hahaha! Too funny!! I totally judge those people too. Now I judge you! Hahaha. Just kidding!! I just found a new game on my phone called Bakery Story and you have to make all kinds of desserts and keep them up and I'm pretty obsessed with it. My husband will be like "What are you doing on your phone?!?!" I will say "I'm making blueberry muffins! GEEZ!" :)

I used to play Sorority Life...ugh. I finally quit cold turkey! haha! I am judgmental too...so no judgment coming from me on that part, haha!

Guilty, I love Farmville, who would of thought that a Thirty Something would be all about feeding the cows....wait I do that in real life too so maybe that's my problem...besides who doesn't like to join a world where it's easy to become a millionaire (in coins anyway).....

I won't try any of the other games because I don't have that much time on my hands. LOL -have fun with FU !! yikes that sounds bad! I mean Fabulous University!!!!

Stacey said...

You know if you would give up that university, you could blog about LIFE that is really happening around you!
