Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{one}  I had an amazing weekend.  We were finally in town - after four weekends straight of being on the road.  It was *glorious*.  I had forgotten what it was like to sleep in (or at least sleep past 9am that is) and lay around with hubby on a Sunday afternoon.

{two}  In addition to quality time this weekend - I finally did a great deal of cleaning around my house.  Although, somehow I feel as though my house is even less clean than it was before.  Have you ever had those days where you bounce from room to room cleaning one area or another - but somehow never get an entire room in the house clean?  I have a clean microwave (but unclean oven), clean bathroom sinks and toilets (but unclean showers), clean mirros & glass throughout the house (but undusted furniture), clean laundry room (but unclean clothes) - I mean really - WHAT WAS I DOING!?!?

{three} Apparently I have a coffee addiction, in particular an iced coffee addiction.  General Foods International Cappuccino Coolers are my new favorite!  Just add ice and a little milk and you can have an iced coffee at home in less than a minute.  So easy and by far the least expensive, super yummy iced coffee I have found!

{four}  My little brother turned seven yesterday.  Oh wow - where have the years gone?  He was such a cute kid - HERE for super cute photos.

{five}  I am so ready for football season.  I don't want to wish my summer away too quickly - but I am SO ready for college football to start again.  ROLL TIDE!

{six} I'm starting to rethink this wanting a baby thing.  It comes and goes.  But I wonder if I'm ever going to feel completely ready.  I mean - that's a lot of responsibility - financially and otherwise.  I just don't know if I'm ever going to feel like it's "the right time".

Your little brother is so adorable! I love how your mom did the stroll down memory lane.

Glad you had a great weekend and were able to sleep in :)

#5: Amen Sister!
#6: I know where you are coming from. I am a planner and really, I could never plan the right time to have a baby. In a way, no time is the right time, and on the other hand, is there ever a bad time to deny a precious gift from God? It is very hard to decide on baby timing! Hope you have a great day! ~Andrea

glad you had a good weekend around the house hun!
i totally know what you mean about cleaning and bouncing all over the house from room to room and doing laundry all the while. i think that's why it takes me hours to clean. i can't say i leave stuff unfinished because it would drive my type a personality crazy ;) i feel like i clean every.single.day! haha

hun, i don't think anyone is every really totally ready and prepared for a baby. i say if you want one, try! ;)

too funny about the cleaning...that is exactly how I feel about my house. I feel like I clean all day and yet it doesn't look that way. My hubby says it is because I go back and forth from room to room instead of staying in one room until it is finished completely. oh well! if it was all clean, what would I do tomorrow? LOL!

My mother has always told me there is never a "right time" to have a baby. I'm just letting God decide for me right now...

I know what you mean about having a baby!! I never wanted kids until the "baby bug" bit me back in december and we've been trying ever since with no luck (yet). Sometimes I wonder if I'm making a mistake by trying..but like Andrea said..babies are such a precious gift from God and makes me think..why wouldn't I want one?! God will let you know when the right time is! :-)

I tell ya... baby fever has been spiking here too. Not crazy or anything, just lingering around this We're-Waiting-Type-of-Girl :-) I sure am hoping that we feel the "right time" when it's time too!

I have cleaning ADD, too! I will set out on my mission to clean and just clean one thing in one room, move to the other and clean something else and then eventually it's all done.... maybe? LOL! I'm glad I'm not alone. -Meg @ oisme.blogspot.com
