Happy Friday, everyone! Julie here from Brown Eyed Belle, how are you? It’s so great to be here! When your sweet girl Amber emailed me this week her subject line was ‘Guest Post Friday???’ And I was giddy! See, I adore this lady and her blog, her pretty new blog to be exact! And I love the fact that I’m the first guest post here at this little revamped joint she has! So, let’s get on to the post, shall we?I agree with Julie one hundred percent. Sometimes when life has me down, all it takes to pick me back up is a dinner with my girlfriends over sushi or a quick trip to Starbucks with a friend. Things have been kind of shaky on my end these days and I am so blessed to have many strong, devoted women in my life to love and encourage me. I hope you are blessed just the same!
Today I want to talk about something that is near and dear to me. Something that is hard to find, but once you have it, you are one lucky lady. Something that I hope all of us are blessed with- a wonderful group of girlfriends. You know those girls that will cry with you, laugh with you, beat someone up for you, have a wine party when you’ve had a bad day? Yes, those girls.
There was a time in my life when I didn’t have a close group of girls. Well, girls that I trusted. Have you ever had that feeling? I always wondered if I would have a group of girls that would be in my life forever, my bffs, my soul sistas, my bridesmaids. Well, the search wasn’t easy and it didn’t happen overnight, but somewhere along my journey in college some wonderful ladies came into my life that I know are here to stay.
These girls complete me one hundred percent, they are the peanut butter to my jelly, the salt to my pepper, the peas to my carrots, you get the idea. They really make my world go-round. So, what is my point with this post about how much I love my friends? I think good friends can make our lives so much better, so much more meaningful and so much happier. I didn’t realize how friends can impact and change your life (for the better) until these girls came along, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.
“A solid group of girls will get you through anything. I feel bad for the women who don’t believe that.” Kate Hudson
What about you? Do you have a group of girls that you love dearly?

Love and miss you! Great post!
I am so happy that you asked me to post for you! Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day, love!
I agree 100%!!! It is crazy how my friends from high school are barely even in the picture anymore, but the girls I met in college are the ones I turn to for everything!
Well said! I've had the same BFF since I was in 3rd grade and even though we live thousands of miles apart we still talk on a regular basis. I also have a few great friends that I became close with in high school and college.
I've never had a "group" of girls that I hung out with. If I did hang with girls, it would be one or two at a time. My best friend was a guy in high school. I hang out with girls, but it is very limited. Some of them moved away, so now I don't have many that live near me :\
I agree completely. My life wouldn't be the same without my little cirlcle of friends. I love them all dearly!
I agree! but for me..I just moved to a new city and haven't made my circle of friends here yet, and I miss that so much! It's not easy to find a great group of girlfriends, I'm finding out. PS - Your perfume is on it's way! Happy Birthday!
Ahh this post just warmed my heart! Thank you so much for starting the weekend off on sucha wonderful, positive note! I know that I've been so blessed to have the girlfriends in my life that I do!
xoxo

Amber I love your new layout, it's super cute. Oh how I wish how I had one group of girls to call my own. I have one girlfriend here another there, but not a whole set from the same group. Maybe one day but for now I have my few friends I trust.
