Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{one}  I need to pay bills today.  Perfect chore for Monday......not looking forward to that item on my to-do-list.

{two}  It's official - I'm training for a half marathon in November.  Yes, I said I was going to do this two weeks ago - but this weekend I found a running partner.  So I have committed 100% - two weeks left of conditioning and then comes a pretty intense 12 weeks training plan.

{three}  Cheesecake Factory wasn't half price on Friday.  Well, it was - if you were dining in.  But the wait was one and a half hours for two people.  So we paid full price and got the cheeescake to go.  But dulce de leche cheesecake has never tasted so good!

{four}  After a trip to Home Goods and IKEA, my master bedroom makeover is almost complete.  Hubby and I will be picking out a new paint color today and hopefully the transformation will be finished by this weekend.  Pictures to come soon....

{five} Baby fever has subsided.  It just hit me this weekend that I might not be as ready as I thought.  Stay tuned as I'm sure this will change shortly.

{six} I can't believe I am saying this, as summer is generally my *favorite* season - but bring on FALL!  Football season, light sweaters, beautiful colors, fall decorations.  I'm over this super hot weather and all my vacations have been taken.  Give me cooler weather and Saturday's watching the Crimson Tide!

I love fall, I honestly can't wait as much as I hate that winter follows fall...

I hated fall in the Northwest because it was like summer in the South... endless! But now that I'm back below the Mason Dixon line, I find myself looking forward to fall again :)

Good luck with the half marathon training! I've heard having a training partner makes all the difference in the world.

That is exactly how my baby fever is. It comes and goes. Sometimes it's at an all-time high and the next day I want to spend more QT with my hubby... alone. :)

I don't know how I found you, but I'm glad I did... I'm here reading through your blog, truly enjoying myself when I see a picture of two amazing fawn boxers pop up and I get really excited!

I'm a new boxer mom, I have a 6 month old fawn, named Lucy! And I blog about what can be a rather comical life with this little boxer!

Anyhoo, I'm following you and I hope you get a chance to come on over and meet Lucy & I!

Fall is my FAVORITE season, too! Seriously! The leaves changing the colors, the light breeze, wearing a sweater and scarf, jeans tucked into your boots.... Ahhhh! I can't wait!

And baby fever...I'm sure it will come back!!

Congrats on putting 100% motivation/effort to training for the half marathon! That is so awesome!! I'm rootin' you on...even if it is from Indiana!!

So awesome you're training for a half marathon! I totally admire that. Fall? What's fall? I live in humid Houston and we just have hot and hotter. My hubby is from Massachusetts and always talks about the leaves turning colors and how pretty it is. Hopefully I get to see that someday. ;)

I'm definitely a Fall girl and can't wait for summer to be done with. So exciting that you're running a half marathon! If I could find a good, motivated running partner...I'd probably do it too :)

I NEVER thought I would say this either - but I am ready for fall! NOT winter, but fall. I hope we actually get a fall this year because last year we skipped it and went straight to winter. I am SO not ready for school though :(

Home goods and Ikea are some of the best places to find things for your house at great prices! Can't wait to see the pics :)

You should feel so proud of yourself for committing 100%!
