The Sun Is Shining!!

I must say I am absolutely loving the beautiful weather we have enjoyed the past two weekends.  The temperatures have been miserable throughout the week, but somehow the clouds have parted and the sun begins to shine on the weekend.  Can't be mad about that!

My babies puppies have especially enjoyed this wonderful weather.  They LOVE going for a ride when the sun is shining.  Last Sunday I suggested to hubby that we take the dogs for a ride and let them run in a nearby field.  Steven was not so thrilled with the idea so I kind of sucker punched him.  He claimed the dogs were perfectly fine and didn't want to go for a ride.  Without warning him, I looked at Dixie and Bauer and said, "Wanna get in the TRUCK??"  That was it - off to the door they ran.  Steven shot me the "I cannot believe you just did that" look and off we went.

And again this Saturday the sun is shining and it feels great outside.  Unfortunately since we leave for Vegas tomorrow there isn't much time to take the dogs for another ride.  So we threw them out back and are letting them run wild.  Hubby caught a few shots of them when they weren't looking.  Yes - those are stick and branches on the back deck.  Bauer thinks it's so sweet that he brings us "presents" from the yard up onto the deck. "Look what I brought you mommy!!"  I'm just waiting for the day I open the back door and find a dead squirrel or something worse!
